Hondius Water Users Project Committee – 7/2/15 Meeting Minutes

Project Update.
Results of the June 22 conference call of available committee members and engineers was reported. The engineer reported that the meeting with representatives from the Town of Estes could not occur until after July 4th due to the people needing to attend not being available until then. The committee submitted questions to be presented at that meeting. They include questions regarding service lines and water pump/reservoir requirements. Due to the delay, the engineer report is not expected to be received until at least the end of July.
It was discussed and decided that the preference is to still hold a meeting this Fall to present the PE report and see if the group still wants to move forward. The meeting might occur late September. It was decided the meeting should be made available to all the potentially impacted residents in the area rather than just the Hondius water users. To contact non-Hondius folks it was reported we may be able to get property owner names and addresses from the Larimer County Assessor. This would be a fairly large group and some strategizing of meeting locations was done. It was also identified most (if not all) locations would carry a cost of several hundred dollars.
Jim will contact Rod after July 4th to request another phone conference with the engineers and committee members.
