Hondius Water Users Project Committee 2/5/15 Meeting Minutes

Update on Project Timing and Process.
Jim reported he’s been in touch with our Larimer County representative this week. The County representative reported the process changes implemented by the state should not affect our project. However, the anticipated timelines may change by a couple months. Instead of a February RFP it may be March or April. The good news is there may be more grant money available. Jim will let the committee know when he gets an RFP draft so it can be commented on.
The following are targeted timeframes after the awarding of the PES:
August 2015 – PES completed
September 2015 – Meeting with Hondius Water Users Group to share results of PES
May-July 2016 – Meeting with County Commissioners to form the LID
November 2016 – Election of the LID Colorado residents regarding the question of whether to incur debt for the project
Hondius Water Users Map Update.
No new information. A map would be beneficial during the construction process to prevent the shutting off of the entire water supply. It would also help to figure out which lines get replaced, which are main lines and which are service lines. We have not been told that the map needs to be provided in the RFP and it is assumed engineers would have access to the mapping through other means.
