Hi All,
This is a reminder of the information previously sent June 6th. The Town has indicated that they will have a “Petition” for Hondius users to sign at the public meeting on August 1st, which will serve as a vote in favor of the project and the Town needs owner(s) of at least half of the Hondius properties (no matter as to whether Colorado residents or not) to sign the Petition in order to move forward with the application with the USDA and the incurring of the debt related to the project. The Petition will have some indication of our willingness to repay the Town for the incurrence of the debt related to the project over the term of the debt (likely forty years).
I hope that we can have great attendance at the meeting and get a significant number of these Petitions signed so that we can immediately move forward with the USDA. If you are unable to attend the meeting, I’m sure we will follow up with mail/email distribution of the Petition that can be signed and returned. This Petition can also likely be used as a method for Non-Hondius users to sign up to be included in the project. Thank you and hope to see you on August 1st.
Jim
