Town Involvement Update
We reviewed Jim’s December letter sent to the Town requesting the information we need to finalize our cost estimate. No response has been received yet. The Larimer County representative was also planning to contact Town personnel this week for follow-up; however, Jim had not yet heard back on whether this contact had occurred.
Water Reservoir Location
After unsuccessful attempts at calling phone numbers thought to be those of the owner of the property for the Town’s proposed location of a water reservoir, the Larimer County representative had sent a letter to the address listed for the individual. At this time, we have not heard of any response.
Committee’s Financial Status
Jim reported he filed the tax return for our non-profit organization status (we were required to form this entity in order to open the bank account). Jim has received no compensation for the filing of this year or last year’s tax returns. The committee acknowledged Jim also spent $800.00 for the attorney who set up the non-profit. Committee members feel strongly that Jim should eventually be reimbursed for these expenditures. There is currently $1,550.00 in the account.
